Are you an individual or a representative of a corporation or organization? If so, you can make a deposit to meet one or more financial obligations as part of an out-of-court settlement.
The following are some of the reasons why you may need to make an extrajudicial deposit:
The Bureau général de dépôts pour le Québec (BGDQ) of the Ministère des Finances.
Sums held at the BGDQ are on consignment. They do not belong to the government (see the États financiers de l'exercice financier clos le 31 mars 2024 of the BGDQ).
Follow these steps before sending a sum to the BGDQ:

Upon receipt of the file, the BGDQ will analyze it. If the file is accepted, the BGDQ will explain in detail how to deposit the amount. Once the sum has been deposited, a receipt will be issued in the depositor’s name.
