Government trustees

Trust assets are entrusted to a government department or body (the trustee) to administer in accordance with applicable contractual or legal provisions. The trustee holds and administers the assets for the benefit of, and on behalf of, designated beneficiaries. Trust assets and activities are not included in the government reporting entity as they are not owned by the government.
