The following consists in general information and notices related to forms for corporations seeking to benefit from the tax measures administered by the Ministère des Finances du Québec (MFQ).
The information provided to the Ministère des Finances is used to verify the eligibility of a corporation’s activities for a tax measure. Failure to provide this information may result in the rejection of an application.
The information is kept confidential by authorized MFQ personnel and may only be shared with third parties with the consent of the person who provided it, in accordance with the Act respecting access to documents held by public bodies and the protection of personal information (CQLR, chapter A-2.1) This link opens a new window..
However, if certain pieces of information were necessary for the application of a law, they could be shared, as the case may be, with Revenu Québec or the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) without the consent of the person who provided them.
Some information may also be used by the MFQ to conduct research, studies or surveys or to produce statistics and cost estimates.
The MFQ must be notified in writing as soon as possible of any significant change in the information provided.
