Financial Assistance for Investment Programs

Important: Please note that the deadline to submit an eligibility request was December 31, 2023. No new eligibility requests will be accepted.

Under the March 2016 and March 2017 Québec Economic Plan, as well as the Fall 2018 Update on Québec's Economic and Financial Situation, the government announced the implementation and extension of an electricity discount program applicable to two distinct clienteles:

• consumers billed at Rate L;
• large power consumers served by off-grid systems.

Through the programs, the businesses targeted, that carry out one or more eligible investment projects, can receive government assistance in the form of reduced electricity costs in their establishments.
