The Minister for Finance is responsible for policies and measures governing financial institutions doing business in Québec.
The Minister for Finance brings proposals before the government, together with the Minister of Finance, for adjustments to policies and measures governing financial institutions.
The minister for Finance is responsible for the application of the Act respecting the Autorité des marchés financiers.
