The personal information provided by Internet users browsing this site is confidential and is subject to and protected by the Act respecting Access to documents held by public bodies and the Protection of personal information (CQLR, c. A-2.1).

In addition, the Ministère des Finances du Québec (MFQ) has taken all technical measures to make the use of this site as secure as possible and to ensure the confidentiality of the information provided by users.

Sharing of information

On May 26, 2011, the MFQ and Revenu Québec entered into an agreement allowing the sharing of certain confidential information. The purpose of this agreement is to provide a framework for communications between Revenu Québec and the MFQ concerning:

1. the information required by the MFQ to fulfill its mandate with respect to tax measures, including the administration of the sectoral parameters under its authority;
2. information required by Revenu Québec for the application of tax legislation.

As a result, in accordance with section 69.8 of the Tax Administration Act (RSQ, c A-6.002), this agreement allows the sharing of confidential information held by the MFQ and span lang="fr" xml:lang="fr">Revenu Québec on either side without the consent of the person who provided it.
