Note 1.  The Minister of Finance is responsible for the application of this Act, except for the provisions relating to the functions and powers exercised by the Authority for the purposes of the Act respecting contracting by public bodies (CQLR, chapter C-65.1), which are under the responsibility of the Minister who is the Chair of the Conseil du trésor (s. 749 of the Act).

Note 2. The Minister of Finance is responsible for the administration of this Act except the provisions relating to the responsibilities of the enterprise registrar, which are administered by the Minister of Employment and Social Solidarity (s. 1 of the Act).

Note 3. The Minister of Finance is responsible for the administration of this Act except the provisions relating to the responsibilities of the enterprise registrar, which are administered by the Minister of Employment and Social Solidarity (s. 26 of the Act).

Note 4. The Minister of Finance is responsible for the administration of this Act except the provisions relating to the responsibilities of the enterprise registrar, which are administered by the Minister of Employment and Social Solidarity (s. 23 of the Act).

Note 5.  The Minister of Finance is responsible for the carrying out of this Act, except sections 8, 9 and 49 and the second paragraph of section 76, the carrying out of which is under the responsibility of the Minister of Public Security (s. 85 of the Act).

Note 6. The Minister of Finance is responsible for the administration of this Act except the provisions relating to the responsibilities of the enterprise registrar, which are administered by the Minister of Employment and Social Solidarity (s. 54 of the Act).

Note 7.  The Minister of Employment and Social Solidarity has charge of the application of those provisions of this Act whose application is not under the jurisdiction of the Minister of Revenue (s. 228 of the Act). The Minister of Finance exercises the functions of the Minister of Employment and Social Solidarity provided in this Act. Note 9. The Minister of Finance exercises the functions of the Minister of Employment and Social Solidarity, the Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Solidarity and the Minister of Finance and the Economy provided for in this Act Order in Council 412-2016 dated 25 May 2016, (2016) 148 G.O. 2 (French), 2923.

Note 10. The minister responsible for the administration of the Supplemental Pension Plans Act (CQLR, chapter R-15.1) is responsible for the administration of this Act, except Divisions I, II and III of Chapter V, which are administered by the minister responsible for the administration of the Labour Code (CQLR, chapter C-27) (s. 97 of the Act).

Note 11. The Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Solidarity is responsible for the administration of this Act. (S.Q. 2015, c. 20, s. 63). The Minister of Finance exercises the functions of the Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Solidarity provided for in this Act. Note 12. The Minister of Finance exercises the functions of the Minister of Employment and Social Solidarity provided in this Act, with the exception of sections I, II and III of chapter IV and section 52, concerning the arbitrator’s appointment. Order in Council 412-2016 dated 25 May 2016, (2016) 148 G.O. 2 (French), 2923.

Note 13. The Minister of Finance shall have charge of the application of this Act, with the exception of section 29.1, the first, second and third paragraphs of section 30, and sections 30.1 to 34, 35 to 35.3, 36 to 36.3, 37.2 and 38 to 55.7, which come under the jurisdiction of the Minister of Public Security (s. 61 of the Act).

Note 14. The Minister of Finance is responsible for the administration of this Act, except the provisions relating to the responsibilities of the enterprise registrar, which are under the administration of the Minister of Employment and Social Solidarity (s. 494 of the Act).

Note 15. The Minister of Finance is responsible for Title VI, The Groupement des assureurs automobiles, Title VII, Powers of the Autorité des marchés financiers as regards statistics and rates, and sections 193.1 to 193.3 (s. 204 of the Act).

Note 16. The Minister of Employment and Social Solidarity is responsible for the administration of this Act, except chapter IV, the administration of which comes under the responsibility of the Minister of Revenue (s. 152 of the Act).

Note 17. The minister who is the Chair of the Conseil du trésor is responsible for the administration of this Act, except the second and third paragraphs of section 21.2.1, the administration of which falls under the responsibility of the Minister of Revenue (s. 59 of the Act).

Note 18. The Minister of Employment and Social Solidarity is entrusted with the administration of this Act, except Division II of chapter II, the administration of which is the responsibility of the Minister of Revenue (s. 67 of the Act).

Note 20. The Minister of Finance exercises the functions of the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food concerning the promotion of and assistance to the horse racing and racehorse training industry as contemplated in subparagraph 8 of the first paragraph of section 2. Order in Council 412-2016 dated 25 May 2016, (2016) 148 G.O. 2 (French), 2923.

Note 21. The Minister of Labour is responsible for the application of this Act, except chapter III.1, which is under the administration of the Minister of Revenue, and sections 84.0.1 to 84.0.7 and 84.0.9 to 84.0.12, which are under the administration of the Minister of Employment and Social Solidarity (s. 170 of the Act).

Note 22. The Minister of Employment and Social Solidarity is responsible for the administration of this Act, except sections 83 to 85, the administration of which falls under the responsibility of the Minister of Revenue (s. 300 of the Act).

Note 23. The Minister of Health and Social Services is entrusted with the application of this Act, except Divisions I to I.2 of chapter IV, the application of which is entrusted to the Minister of Revenue, and Divisions II and III of that chapter, the application of which is entrusted to the Minister of Finance (s. 42 of the Act).

Note 24. The Minister of Families, Seniors and the Status of Women is responsible for the administration of this Act, except subdivision 3 of Division I of chapter VII, the administration of which falls under the responsibility of the Minister of Revenue. (s. 135 of the Act).

Note 25. The Minister of Energy and Natural Resources is responsible for the application of this Act except for those responsibilities assigned to the Minister of Finance under this Act. Order in Council 288-2016 dated 13 April 2016, (2016) 148 G.O. 2 (French), 2327.
