Information on contracts

Under subparagraph 13 of section 4 of the Regulation respecting the distribution of information and the protection of personal information, the Department must release the information pertaining to the contracts entered into by it and referred to in section 22 of the Act respecting contracting by public bodies.

Distribution of information pertaining to contracts is in keeping with the Québec government's objective of more transparent reporting on the processes for awarding contracts, the proper use of public funds and the fair treatment of competitors.
